Nikki Halsted, a former U.S. Special Forces soldier who has spent years deployed in the Middle East. After her husband dies of leukemia, Nikki returns home to New Mexico to retire and rebuild a relationship with her estranged 16 year old daughter, Chloe. The peace is short lived. On Chloe’s 16th birthday, following a heated argument with her mother, Chloe sneaks out to a local bar. There, she is drugged and kidnapped by a powerful human trafficking syndicate known as “The Syndicate”.
