Bailey, a 12 year old girl living in a rundown building with her father, Bug, and half brother, Hunter. When Bug announces his engagement to Kayley, Bailey, feeling neglected and seeking attention, storms off. She witnesses a group of boys threatening a man and escapes into an empty field where she meets a mysterious man named Bird.
