Laura Biel, a young Polish woman, is dissatisfied with her lifeless relationship. On a trip to Sicily, Massimo Torricelli, a dominant and wealthy member of the Sicilian Mafia, kidnaps her. He gives her 365 days to fall in love with him, threatening to kill her if she fails.
