The film picks up where the first film left off, with Raquel and Ares still in love but struggling to make their relationship work long-distance. Ares is studying in Stockholm, while Raquel is back in Barcelona. They communicate through video calls and text messages, but it’s not the same as being together in person.
When Ares comes back to Barcelona for the summer, they finally get to see each other again. But their reunion is not without its challenges. They have to deal with Ares’s overprotective family, Raquel’s jealous friend, and their own insecurities.
Through My Window: Across the Sea is a steamy, romantic comedy that will appeal to fans of the first film. It’s full of twists and turns, and the chemistry between Galle and Peña is undeniable. If you enjoyed the first film, you’ll definitely want to check out the sequel.
